Hi CL, welcome to the C90 Club :D Glad you got around to buying a Cub, their very easy to love, very rewarding and so much fun

I'm trying to think who's in your area? There's a few in South Wales, but that's not so close! perhaps around liverpool/manchester would be better?

Thanks for the welcome, ok I will look for people in Liverpool area, I have always loved these bikes for their simplicity, I am planning on using the bike to commute to work and looking into a modified 125cc engine conversion with a manual 4 speed box from a pit bike, seems it may go straight in and will give a much needed power boost to move my lardy frame along!

Yep, that's a nice project you've got there :) A few of the Chinese engines are not very reliable but the Lifan 110/125/140 sound pretty good, there a semi-auto and a manual clutch version I think.

Cheers, I will keep the club posted on how it goes, if all goes well I will write a good description of how I did it for all to see! Clutch lever may be an issue as original switch gear doesnt have a mounting, but ive heard there are models out there with brake levers on the left side, if so I must source one.

Aliengravy (AG) who's on the admin here has a manual clutch on his bike as do a few others, herrod I think too, so I know there must be a mount available but I haven't paid much attention to how's it's done I'm affraid

Keep us posted on yer project though (project section) we love to see members bikes taking shape :D
