Hello from Hampshire

Post by jakeblues » Tue Sep 07, 2010 2:45 pm

Hi Everyone,
Just to introduce myself, I have just got a '96 Cub with a Stomp 140cc engine fitted, the exhaust is a bit loud for me (a one-off stainless with a pitbike end can), any ideas how to quieten her down a bit ?
I have the original engine with it, so I may revert to it eventually.
I have had a C50 and a C70 before (when things were still in black and white !)
I am selling my Honda Vigor 650 and going back to having fun again !!

JJ (i think..) had a triumph terrier exhaust fitted to his 125, it's not as quiet as the stock 90 exhaust but it's got way more muffling than a pitbike glass-pack. I don't reckon you could do much better without strangling the engine.

Thanks LeVelo, I've ordered one of those 'universal' baffles to whack in there to start with, then I'll see if I need to try something else, I'm not adverse to louder than standard, but this is LOUDER than louder than standard !!
