Hey guys..Im dan From hampshire and ive just found your wonderfull forum
Been a long time fan of stepthrus... Had approx 15 of them over the years. My last proper one was a c50la autobox... was ok (when i was 16)
Ive decied i need another cub in my life so i just bought a c90 economy (12v squarelamp) On a k plate....
Got it for an ok plate but it still needs work. Namely the rings are a bit worn (poss whole barrel)
Needs some other tidying up....
This is gonna be my decider bike... to decide if im going to get my full bike licence... Wish me well

Well, they're very simple little bikes really, and were designed to be ultra reliable.
However we're enthusiasts, so maybe we meddle and tinker with them more than is absolutely necessary! Also there's been many models over the years and quite a few changes, so knowing what you have helps! (oh, and recognising when a past owner has made changes... )
So you can learn lots about them or just turn the key and ride! You do need to keep an eye on the oil level though, they don't hold much and a developing problem ie leak or burning it will kill it quick for sure.
I have met some remarkable people through these little bikes, what some have done with them or know about them is astounding.
Check out Boo's 'A Cub Spotter's Guide' HERE It's a work in progress and it's a superb read! (I doubt it's 1% of what he knows about these bikes!)
