Thank God when its about food there is an old roman saying "de gustibus non est disputandum" we badly need something similar for engines...
Btw I strongly recommend to wash your hands when coming from the kitchen to work on your bike. Imagine you could contaminate your engine oil with coconut oil just by touching the dipstick accidentially on the wrong end :lol: :lol: :lol:


@newt I just wanted to support your first post. I too do hate oil at least in a forum.

+1 :D Chips is 'orrid cooked in olive oil!

I use 100% Rapeseed oil. Best chips evah! :D :D :D

The UK market in rape oil is really booming. There are cold pressed extra virgin rape seed oils that are finally overturning the must use olive oil mentality in fancy cooking. Rape is a fine multipurpose oil where as olive can yield poor results for frying and will generally smell very unpleasant when heated to high temperatures.
