Hi,
I just entered the wonderful world of C90s a few weeks ago - got a rusty, manky 1989 blue C90E off ebay - absolutely love it. Have only seen one other C90 in edinburgh so feel part of a very exclusive club!
Was forced into doing my first ever bit of motorbike maintenance last week when it slipped into 2nd gear as I was doing about 50mph and it just shredded the (very corroded) exhaust to bits. After some probs with the exhaust studs (a common problem i believe), fitted a brand new exhaust in about 20 minutes - as a car driver up until now I just love the fact I can do stuff like this myself for about 40 quid rather than 200 quid and a trip to KwikFit.
Anyway, hi!
cheers,
stu

Re: Hello
Hello and welcome the forum!!
Seems to be a common problem with the exhaust studs as you say..... Seen quite a few sheared off now! And that doesn't make them allot of fun!
Post some pics up we all love to see what bikes our members have!!
If you need any help with anything, just ask!

Re: Hello
Hi Stu, Welcome to C90Club! Great little bikes aren't they? Virtually run on fresh air, 120mpg, and so easy to work on and repair. Great fun at little cost, I love trundling through the lanes here on mine!
