So you’ve got a spark 👍.

Is the plug wet with fuel?
Have you taken the plug out after kicking it over loads of times to see if it’s wet? You have to take it out quickly before it evaporates… have your plug tool ready.

You need a spark and fuel. As long as you got good resistance (compression) when the kickstarter is shoved down…. Then it should fire up. You’re not flooding it, trying to start with the throttle pulled back?

Sorry that we seemed to upset you…… just trying
To help.
Cheers Andy.

Hi Andy
No Not at all Andy,(You have Been a Great Help)
Yea I got a good Spark I have New plug with a .6 mm gap.
Yea I took Carburetor off,I think I have lost bits of it.
I flushed fuel tank out, the Fuel lines are fine.
I was wondering would it work with a Different Carburetor? Maybe put a Different one on.
I have one of an old Honda Sky Scooter I don't know if it will fit. I know it was a 50cc I will try it & let you know how I get on
Once again
Thank you for all your help
John

Well, it’s hit and miss if another carb from a different bike will run the engine?
You don’t want air leaks on the joints on your metal inlet ‘manifold’. Either ‘O’ rings or if the gasket is knackered….. make one for now.
Cereal box or similar (cardboard). Cut out shape then tap round the holes with metal tool to make mark / imprint then cut out holes. Very gentle smear of grease both sides and fit between metal joints.
Air leaks here will make the engine run terrible or not at all.
If the engine runs…. You can get a proper gasket later.

I’m quite sure it was probably crap / tiny bits in your slow pilot circuit originally????
You’ve got the pilot screw out abit…… haven’t you?
Usually about 1 to 1 1/4 turns out from fully screwed in.
If you’ve lost a part….. well…. Might be knackered.
Apologies in advance if my post is patronising or taking the piss…. Isn’t meant to be.
Cheers Andy.

Hi Andy
No Not at all, your information &knowledge is very Helpful,
Yes that's good advice about the air Leaks.
I did See Carburetor for Sale on Ebay.
They looked good.but did not seem the right one.
I'm going to look online for honda Breakers in thailand/Malaysia as last time I were out their
Their was still quite a few of them on the Road.
I will try the Scooter one first will let you know in a few hours
Thanks
John

If you can't get the choke to work properly to fire the engine from cold.... then partially cover the air intake with the palm of your hand or piece of clean cloth to suffocate the carb and richen the mixture.
(don't use tissue.... tiny fibres can get sucked in).
The other way is to warm up the carb and cylinder head with a hair drier before starting.
==========================================
PLEASE BE VERY CAREFULL DOING THIS SORT OF THING...... PETROL / HEAT / ELECTRICS ETC.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO THIS IF THE CARB IS WEEPING / LEAKING PETROL FROM THE JOINTS!!
==========================================

Good luck,
Andy.
