What's going on! the story is even better than I knew but it's coming out all over the place!

Sorry Pjam, I know exactly where you are coming from, I just have to go with the flow, and I ended up writing up this bit in response to Neil. There's a lot to the trip, anyone who thinks I got on the bike and simply rode is in for a shock!
There's a a middle bit to it too, I will eventually put it up as a single thread, but if I don't/can't it will at least dribble out, a bit like the saga of Jono's bike
