Have they introduced the low emission rules for motorbikes yet ?
Yes but it only applies to 12 cities throughout France at present.

The 12 French cities with low- emission zones

• Clermont-Ferrand

• Grenoble

• Lyon

• Paris

• Marseille

• Montpellier

• Nice

• Reims

• Rouen

• Saint-Etienne

• Strasbourg

Toulouse

The launch keeps getting put back in some areas but from what I understand is pretty much live now but rather than manual checks is now camera controlled and the fine for non compliance is €1000 mark

And it’s dead easy and cheap to apply for a crit air sticker. Definitely worth getting one if you’re riding in France as you never know where you’ll end up. 🤪

100% agree

Rouen at exit 22 only accepts Crit Air 1-3 in that area so no idea what older vehicles do? Hence my Ignis 4wd got retired  You can circumnavigate it but it's a trial and easy to stray

You send a copy of your V5 on the online application & they issue the appropriate sticker. It arrives within 2 weeks

I have worked out bikes/scooter L1(e) applies to small electric bikes and L6(e)) is quad cycles but the categories in between still unsure.

About £4.57 for the crit air , the site says a photo of the V5 less than 2 mb , what that means is less than 1mb   I travel through Rouen so the crit air is important. Last year I crossed the Seine by ferry to the west of Rouen I am not sure if that is out of the LEZ.

Will do! Got another ride coming in May and I want to document it a little better...
