Post it up in Local rides. Give a time and a date from where you are leaving. If you can give a route that would be good but not essential.

You just might be surprised how many you end up leading to the event!

And if no one turns up, you are no worse off. But put up a brief account of the day, to shame those who thought about tagging along, but wasn't sure you'd turn up on the day. When folks see you are reliable, you'll be amazed how many will rally and turn out.

I've never been there but very much enjoy dragging the C90 further afield and for me could be part of a longer tour and actually doing some hills. We don't have that many in Essex.

Sounds interesting. I visited last year ( in the car) as I had wanted to go for years and lockdown meant I was desperate to get out. I have just bought the bike which needs some work so I will see how it rides before committing.

I potentially would be up for this, it's certainly reachable from where I live for a day trip, only blocker for me would be if the Mrs is working in which case I have to look after ThungerGuts junior. Is it a ticketed event or can you rock up on the day?

Is this rideout still happening, or has it been knocked on the head?
