Preston Chicken Chasers Bowland Fells Ride 15.02.18
Not been out much over the winter up here in Lancashire, it had been a cold week with plenty of bad weather & we planned just going to Morecambe to stay in a cafe for lunch & a chat.
Tom Robinson & I met at Junction 32 on the M6 & the sun came out so we decided to go for a brew at Bull Beck at Caton. We went via Crossgill, then we saw the top of the moor, the view was marvelous. So it was Bull Beck for lunch (Egg & bacon barm cake etc.) then up to Bentham, over Great Harlow into the snow, down to Slaidburn, had brew at Waddington, then back along the A59.
A Bloody good ride the best so far this year. Thanks to Tom for his excellent company, as usual it’s just a pity that some of the other lads couldn’t have joined us.
