Incidentally, I've run the cub with a 17 tooth front sprok for yrs....anything smaller (tried a 16 recently) feels so revy now...

I agree! I've no idea what this is all about. :? Valve bounce and protest before the valves stay open and it becomes a jet engine maybe? :lol: :lol: :lol:

Or just simple harmonics at play?
