Nope, just parked outside the office - secretary saw it fall... freak 40mph gust ( according to web ) .. main stand down.. on gravel, which may not have helped.. that and the anti-strength of the Riders 110 headset plastic..

Going for another Piaggio Zip part ( Piaggio Zip 50cc 2010 Indicator Switch Button ) off ebay to replace it.. should work.

regards

Kevin

yes, that must be considered - our mopeds is light ones.
i also have my moped fallen, near my office - it sits on centre stand, on a good, strong surface, and even partially covered from winds by buildings, but it was day after a storm, and there is a strong wind gusts time from time.
and i put a cover on moped, who make situation worse, as so in result i must going to buy new right mirror, as old one has broken in result of moped falling over :(

There is an argument that a bike is more stable when in gear and on the side stand. In transit, the ferry companies also prefer it that way.

i dont think so.
weight centre is high, base triangle is small, when it sits on sidestand.

on ferry is preferable to fix moped with bandage /ropes by anchorage point ( i hope, i say right, my english actually is very bad, sadly)....

even big motorcycle ( say yamaha xj600) feels more stable, if you try to lurking it a bit, on a centre stand, than on sidestand...

This could lead to an interesting discussion. I'm going to start a new thread.
