SE Asian bimble

Post by Mat The Splat » Wed Apr 27, 2016 11:17 pm

Hi all
I have decided its time for me to do something with my life, and that is to fly myself to Asia buy a bike and ride around till i run out of money.

Been looking at a few bikes but keep coming back to one, Honda EX-5

Anyone know anything about these bikes? my guess is its a Innova/wave with retro clothes on?

Becaause we'll pay it ... because we can. Economics I'm afraid.

£750 is equivalent to 2 month's average Malaysian wage.

£2000 is less than 1 month's average UK wage.

Mat and I were talking about this last night. Gonna be quite an adventure.
Anyone got any contacts in KL or where ever you fly into who could help with local knowledge?
Guess there will be a need for a local to help when buying a bike ;)

Would a XRM be a better choice? Cub with longer suspension and more clearance.
