Heinz performed faultlsly over the 197 miles. Average speed was 38mph with a top speed of 58mph. Total amount of fuel used was around 9 litres.
The journey took 6.5 hours which includes 3 fuel stops. A stop at the hole in the wall and 2 breaks for a cuppa. Actual riding time was around 5.5 hours which is great considering I had to climb some steep hills. I also had 2 heavy bags and a can of fuel.
I could of done the trip quicker if it was not for rush hour traffic.
Well done to Heinz. Keep it up

Here is Heinz ready to leave for Hampshire which is 195 miles.
also used a HUD speedo to check my average MPH. I hit 58mph at one point which is sitting upright with a fairly strong head on wind. it was downhill though

I could of done with one. At tthe moment Heinz is stinking and needs a good scrub.
I couldn't get any photos on the way down as it was very misty.
Visability was barely 100 yards going over the heads of the valleys.
At least I never had ice or snow problems.

Its a programme for my android phone. It's called digiHUD. It is also free.
I just brought a waterproof USB charger for around £4 off eBay and also a 2 metre usb lead for my phone and then put the phone in my jacket pocket

Just been invited to attend a charity rideout from Swansea to the stateside diner in Pembroke. It's only around 60 miles each way but the sights are brilliant.
Can't wait. Heinz has performed fantastically since he overcome his spell of illness
