I hope I can make it this year.I woke up to the deepest smow we have had in the south for many years and was told it was like it all the way so was persuaded I was mad to go.However iy turned out that although cold it was only for the first 30 or so miles it was that bad.

I'm going to try some winter riding, I know it's possible to build up a bit of tolerance to the cold, especially hands & feet, from my diving days. So I'm going to see how I get on with it, and if it's even half bearable I might give it a shot.
