Brilliant exploration blog (urban and industrial etc..) by Phill Davison from Leeds. He & his chums take pics inside mad places. Link is to Standedge Tunnels through the moors between Huddersfield and Oldham.. Two disused railway & the re-opened canal one, all interconnected! http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuse ... =499903956herrod wrote: crazy tunnels
Check out his others too!

Re: c70 factory outing
Quite a few have a fascination for disused underground stations and tunnels.
You might notice the Jubilee Line platforms at Charing Cross! but there is no Jubilee Line at Charing Cross! no, because they built the platforms and then realised too late the turn was too tight for the track! those platforms are now used for the busker auditions.

Re: c70 factory outing
super stuff on tunnels the old grinkle mine is of interest to me I used to live in a miners cottage in port mulgrave at the harbour end . They talked of rumbles and noises which is no suprise to me as I worked 3000 feet further down by there (Cleveland potash)
