125cc Engine and Welder

Post by Charlyil » Wed Oct 28, 2009 9:38 am

MOT is due for November...

But i have been to see a few Welders/Fabricators and have been quoted 100.00 to repair my rear fender

on my Honda C70c

Im not sure if it is worth it for that price, as i only paid 75.00 for the bike...

theres nothing wrong with the rest of the bike, just the rust on the back will cause an MOT fail.

So i was thinking of picking up a 90cc engine or a 125cc if i can to bring me back...
its not worth upgrading to a Honda CB/CG

Some advice? what should i do? sell or repair?

Could you get that price down by stripping the frame out yourself?
