I need a set of leg shields for a C100 or an early C50 (the sort with a hole for the air filter in), need not be mint, just usable (no big cracks or holes).
Please message me if you think you can help.

Hi Studio263, glad you got yourself fitted up with a bike at last!! If it's the C100 you got from the guy in the for sale section you will need C100 legshields, totally different to C50. I 'might' have a set of aftermarket replicas that are just what you need, they are white and new, but not as well made as Honda ones. I seriously doubt you'll get new originals.......Drop me a PM if you are interested!

There's a set on German ebay, but there's a little bit missing.

Sorry. I'm not helping at all there.
In an emergenccy, 6 volt C50 ones fit on but don't look too pretty around the front where they're designed to meet the C50's fork cowling. There was a CM91 on ebay last week with 6 volt C90 ones on (same mismatch) and it was hardly noticable on the pics.

Yes, that's the one! I'd have thought that C100 leg shields would have been different to the later ones but the ones there at the moment are from a late C90 and apart from a hole cut out for the air filter they seem to fit remarkably well. It took me a while to work out why the air filter cover was sticking out so far, I didn't suspect that they were wrong at first.cruncherkid wrote:Hi Studio263, glad you got yourself fitted up with a bike at last!! Other issues:
Wiring is a mess (I'm making good progress with that though)
Doesn't start or run (a minor detail I'm sure)
A certain ammount of rot in the usual places
Kick starter and gear pedals very slack
Seat colapsed and stuffed with rags (base and cover OK though)
Rear brake pedal goes down a long way but nothing happens, I suspect that the brake shoes are missing...
Hand painted at some stage
Other than that she's a minter!
