1962 C100

I recently acquired a C100, the frame is in fantastic condition, and the engine has only done 702 miles! I need most other parts, in particular the rear wheel assembly complete with axle, chain adjusters and sprocket carrier. I also need front indicator glasses, and my headlight rim is really rusty. All parts considered, just let me know what you have and how much you want for them. Cheers!

If my memory serves me correctly the rear wheel assembly is the same as a 6V C50,70 and 90. I used to swap rear wheels around when I had a C100.

Thanks Dude, I should update this, I found a sprocket carrier in a box of spares I acquired along with a 90, and it fits the original wheel and slots in the frame. I also got a spindle from another source, where I got an '84 c50, and that's too short. It just occurred to me it might be a front wheel spindle, I'l have to check. Only other thing I can do is take my 84 c50 apart, try the bits on the c100 and see what's what. Oh for some time.....
Meanwhile, If anyone has C100 bits, I'm interested.....

Nice C100. (D suffix plate = 1966 by the way, not '64)

Don't forget, although the fitting is the same, the C100 / C50 / C70 rim is narrower than the C90 / C70Z2/ZZ.

Are the actual ally hubs different though Boo?

The hubs are all the same width.. just the rims different. As I'm sure you know, there are several variations on the hub/brake plate edge, so often you'll have to keep matching brake and hub together.

The only other variation is the sprocket carrier bit, with the fine thread that fits through the swingarm... there are two different lengths of thread, depending on the swingarm type... (and long/short spindles to suit)
Longer thread fits the thick double-skinned swingarm on C100, 6v C50 and C90, C50/70/90Z2/ZZ and C50/70/90C.
Shorter thread fits the thin-ended swingarm on early (pre Z2) C70 and C50/70/90E onwards (square-lamps)

Your C100 and C50C have the same swingarm type anyway, but as I say, you'll have to keep late brake plate matched with late wheel.
