Yellow Honda Cub

Post by alfiembra » Wed Sep 28, 2022 6:55 pm

Looking for a round headlight C50 it must be complete, not a rust bucket and in original yellow paint.
I’m searching on behalf of a collector and he was very specific on the yellow colour.
So if anyone has one or knows of one that would be for sale please let me know.

Thanks.

As mentioned by chickenchaser90 above

In the UK i'm sure the C50 was not sold in Yellow
I can only remember C70s in yellow.
Plenty of pictures on the web but not Uk models.
I could be wrong though :D

I've been following the exploits of a fella setting records on a yellow C50 on Facebook.

Whether it's its original colour, or even a UK model, I don't know, though.

EDIT: having looked it up again, it's definitely not a UK model.

If you look at the spotters guide viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1098 you will see that no C50s came to the UK in yellow, the early C70s are the best of the bunch though, and much more useable being as fast as the 6 volt C90.
Where are you and your collector?
