C90 CUB REAR BRAKE PLATE, CAMAND LEVER

Post by OWEN » Tue Mar 15, 2022 4:37 pm

Hello

Has anyone got a brake plate with the pin and brake lever arm going spare who wants to sell it? Its for a 86 bike but I think most square headlamp cubs should be the same.

Marked or tatty is fine, as long as its not too expensive? Bristol area would be even more amazing!

The back plates changed throughout the life of the Cubs so you need one for that year.

Just adding to what wightegi said:-
Yes, that looks like an early sq. h.lt plate in that photo? Early 80s to '92. They changed about 1992 approx. I think on a C90- P maybe? So if you get a '92 to '02 plate, you'll have problems with the plate fitting the wheel hub. Your bike I should think takes H303 shoes and the later '92 approx onwards take H304 shoes with the longer springs. A later wheel and plate will fit but together as one unit.
Hope this helps,
Cheers Andy.
