I am looking for a Honda MD90 front carrier for a 1971 CT90 project I am working on. Not entirely sure where to start, don't know if they were Japan only. Any help is appreciated!

They were part of the post bike specifically made for the postal service in Japan & would have to be hacked around somewhat to fit anything else I would imagine. Seven seas import the bikes usually & they seem to just get the bikes & not other parts - I did ask to see if I could get one of the rear expanding boxes with my MD90 they supplied but they were unable to help. It may be easier to make one from scratch if you have a vice & a welder as they are made from solid rod & plate steel & fairly basic. They bolt between the forks, on top of the forks & the headlight is bolted to the top.

I found it on CSMNL and they have all the mounting brackets needed. It seems like it uses the same triple tree as the ct90. The parts were in stock

That saves a lot of cutting & welding but looks a bit pricey for a complete job with all the fixings. Good luck with the project.
