Looking for a C70 downdraft type carb for my newly aquired 72 C70, i have 2 carbs, both of which have broken off choke levers. so looking either for a complete replacement, or just the top with a working choke. Im also open to links for a cheap chinese copy i can buy just to rob the top off. i know these arent as common as the later keihin knock offs. or if someone can suggest how i could fix the broken lever to make the carb fully operative.
Also looking for the painted seat bracket/catch in red preferably. as mines has damage to one indicator mount. bikes a 1972 70
6v C70 downdraft carb, complete or just the top, seat bracket/catch

No idea of quality
And postage makes it a bit pricey.
Spotted it a while back and dropped into my watch list.
I always felt they went quicker with these carbs probably because they were on the first one i ever rode as a field bike as a 13 year old lad

I did order a Chinese knock off, but my friendly cub parts scrapper has also informed me he has dug out a carb from a dusty box in his attic, which containes a C70 1974 downdraft carb in decent nick. so hopefully its good once i get round to getting it up to me. ill use the chinese one as a spare. or to nick the top off.
They probably did go a bit quicker as the early C70s with that carbs had the big valve heads.. not much, but every mph counts.
