Spine Rack wanted

Post by bart » Tue Jun 02, 2020 8:33 am

Having decided to keep my c90 (πŸ‘πŸ˜ round of applause)
I would like a spine rack for it, it's a 1996 e/start model if that makes a difference ? Ta, ruf

There's one on eBay for Β£25 that looks good. Better than the one I bought one years ago from somewhere in the Far East, it works very well and carries a steel jerry can and tank bag but the chrome fell off quite quickly. :D

Also spotted a NOS Rickman rack with pannier rails on eBay whilst browsing. :D

I'm pleased you're keeping the Cub it's a real beauty. Depending on what you need the rack for there are alternatives. I fitted an alloy bicycle drinks holder to my 70. The 1 litre alloy bottle that came with it is used for spare fuel, or a stainless flask for refreshments or even a tool roll and waterproofs depending on need. Not really suitable for carrying boxes of cornflakes etc.

Bicycle bottle holder, that's worth a look at, a litre bottle would be fine, just for fuel really, ta
