Re: Front Rack Wanted
That one looks OK. Unlike the one supplied with the Chinesey Cub which had a very small tag for the centre support.
Failed under the load of the basket and a loaf of Warburtons Toastie.

Re: Front Rack Wanted
I found an old bicycle carrier and think it might make a front rack on my c90. Did anybody do this or see it done?

This was done years ago by the late, lamented SteveW. You could try searching his posts pre 2014. I do have a couple of crap shots of his 90 which may help. I think I remember he used to put a small pair of cycle panniers on the front as well.
Incidentally I bought that rack mentioned on eBay. Looks good and will be on the bike when I can get it out of the workshop!

Re: Front Rack Wanted
How is the rack you bought on ebay put on, are the legs onto front axle or on to front forks. The legs of the bicycle carrier will fit on to the front axle. I not sure how I will attach the front part of it yet. I'll probably have to make some kind of brackets to hold it. Any ideas.

Rack fitted now, looks ok. Will test it tomorrow with a slab. Thirsty work this hot weather. Wish me luck.

He did, and he used to carry one wellington boot in each pannier.bikerbaker wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 3:15 pmThis was done years ago by the late, lamented SteveW.
