Re: Racks and screen
The addition on the GS is very good no flex at 60 mph plus... and no wind on my chest ,bit more noise but I have not tried it with ear plugs yet.Get the hand guards fitted wire up the heated vest and grips and I am Dragon ready.

I am curious to see what you have done with the screen extension, Michael.
Any chance of a photo?

Re: Racks and screen
I looked at a Madstad additional screen at £250 ,but take the nought off the end and divide by 3 = less than £8 QED

Re: Racks and screen
Got a Madstad on the BMW but looks pig ugly and was over £400 new with delivery. Works very well though and is very well made, the mounting plate looks like its bulletproof!
I sniped it off eBay for £50, the guy was upgrading to a 1200RT. Result
Your mod looks effective!

Re: Racks and screen
520 miles on the screen now Dragon and back it does not flex at 00 mph (insert whatever you like ) but if I lower my self by a couple of inches the wind and noise is gone ,so I am now going to try to mount it with the lower holes at the top of the original screen.

Re: Racks and screen
Tried the screen higher but it made no real difference so it is removed for now.

Re: Racks and screen
I've been fiddling with mine again. I have managed to get a fair bit more curvature on it, the downside being a larger gap between the screen and headlamp/bars.
It now hardly flexes at all up to the Cub's top speed, and still doesn''t create excessive noise.
