Early big valve jobbies used the downdraft.
She's an 82 if this helps.
In that case she should be a 12v (tank inside frame), does it have a round headlamp?

It could be a late registered 6v (tank separate and bolted to the frame by it's base), in which case it's the ZZ (key in the upper left side of the leg shields, has a 12v style exhaust originally and choke in the middle of the bars) The left side engine cover is a giveaway too as it has a small points access panel secured with 2 screws.

The reason I ask is; the round headlamp 12v C70C would have a reserve pipe and 2 tap connections whereas the square headlamp doesn't - you get a feel gauge instead.

Either way the chinkie chonk 90 carb will fit and it's probably closer jetted to use on a 70 so may work straight out of the box.

I can lend you one to try? if it works you can buy it, if it doesn't then send it back to me.

Also, very generous offer thanks! Will definitely consider.

Pass - c90club :D

P.S I thought you could see but perhaps not! The key is indeed in the left side of the legshield.

Aw ok!
It didn't say that on my insurance, I think they went with a different letter, maybe C. Would this be an issue?
There was a list of about 10 different models with that plate.

CMSNL are good but will charge you 20 yoyos to post a washer , and if you spend over £135 in EU land you will get taxed in this country as well ,so try a Honda dealer in this country .
