As a temporary measure for this one email it to capitano AT bikerider.com and I'll stick it up here.

Thanks Capitano!
Mine is on the left - Chinese crap, hence the replacement! Unfortunately it was fitted by the previous owner..

Incidentally, my 12v C90 runs marvellously with a Chinese carb.

I will keep it for spares but just don't trust them.
It must be a cheap cheap one as it's all over the place when it runs, shame!
Just to clarify then, is that your carb to the right??

Re: C70 6v Original Keihin Carb
This is my carb.
It was fitted when I bought the bike.
I've only ever seen one other Runtone for sale on ebay. It was £11 with free postage.
EDIT: 21/09/2021: Further research revealed that my carb was a Runtong, not Runtone, and ws around £50 from WeMOTO. The aftermarket carbs for the 12V C90 from WeMOTO have proved to be a good fitment for several Cub folks.

Oh ok! Well that's worth the money even for spares I suppose.
And I think there's a 'review' thread on here to do with those carbs by Diesel Dave?
Or atleast something similar!

I have no intention of changing mine whatsoever. 150 mpg and runs nicely.PhilB wrote:Oh ok! Well that's worth the money even for spares I suppose.

Well maybe I will have to look for one, should I be unsuccessful in finding an original!?Capitano wrote:I have no intention of changing mine whatsoever. 150 mpg and runs nicely.PhilB wrote:Oh ok! Well that's worth the money even for spares I suppose.
