I'm sure the C100 engine shares nowt or vey nearly nowt with the C50.(gearbox innards might be shared????) Mountings are the same spacing though.
The C50 came out in Japan (late '66) a year before they came here, so maybe Monkeys were fitted with the OHC from then?
(Only a guess... I don't know much Monkey biz.)

God no, engine mount spacings are all that you've got!! And by the way, if you need a new clutch cover, just pop this part number into david silvers, 11330-001-100 ..... can do you some smelling salts for a fiver posted!

i know someone that's selling one, user 'phil.s' on pitbikeclub.co.uk bet he'll take 20 quid for it,kick start shaft snapped too though

No no no, looks like one of the clutch springs has dropped out
