C90 wanted for charity bash

i need a C90 for a charity thing i am doing. possibly need 2 or 3, maybe 4 for a couple of mates.

the rules are the bikes must cost £300 or less (with or without MOT) if its without then it must be roadworthy or there abouts.
this might be a hard call but rules is rules.
i dont mind if any welding needs to be done (i.e. rear shock mounting area) as i have a mig welder.

these are to be used to cover 3000+ miles and there are other very strange rules all to be disclosed later.
a couple of rules being.... if the bike is modified in any way then the parts must be hand made (i see a underseat exhaust coming up)
it must be painted (hand painted) in a motoGP/BSB/WSBK rep

please take into account that the bike will be highly modified so no older, vintage ones please as it would be a shame to treat them this way.

Finding decent Cubs for less than £300 is a real job nowadays, thanks to 'eBay inflation'. The price has gone up quite a bit of late, and decent cheap ones are as rare as hen's teeth. They can be found, but you might have to work at it.

i see what you mean, ebay ones are generally £400 - £700 for a general run around.
this is planned for next october so plenty of searching time to go.... its just nice to get one early and pet it before its abused

hmmm I have a c90 which needs some work.
needs welding around rear mudguard.
it will run but the iginiton barrel fell apart so cant start it now!!
its all there but a shame about the rust.

can you send me a pic of some description and has it got documents.
im sure the ignition switch wont be a problem, the welding certainly isnt

I do keep thinking of stripping it and having a go at it myself but i cant weld.

I did get offered £150 for the engine on its own so i would be looking for £250 for the bike.
if you dont facny it could i employ you to do some welding?
