I've not tried to fit it yet but I've been told it'll slot in no probs. The engine I have for the job has the points located behind the flywheel cos I was also told that the 6v engine with points located on the end of the cam would not fit without work. Could this be true? Does it make sense?
All early ST's and CF's are 6v and I think the only differences between these and 6v C70 engines are carb, inlett manifold and engine no.s!
So, anybody got a side cover for me please? Is the flywheel cover and sprockett cover separate or one piece? The one on the CF and ST are one piece and don't fit the 90 engine so... (could supply engine no.s if this helps identify which bike the engine came from and therefore which cover(s) I need.
Thanks in advance for any help.
