Re: Nanfang NF 50
Thought I'd see what insurance was like for one of these and assumed it would be akin to a ChinaCub.
£117 third party only...
£175 fully comp, same price for TPFT!
My Riders used be insured for £65 TPFT.

Re: Nanfang NF 50
Ran out of time to edit my post???
Chap supposedly bought it for his grandson in July last year. Grandson had a shot and decided he didn't want it.....
When I first saw the bike, it was looking a bit worse for wear and wasn't too impressed with the build quality overall.
Noticed that the front indicators were some aftermarket mini LED style units and asked about the originals.
I was told that he'd caught the indicator when pushing it out of the shed....hmm...
After getting the bike out of the shed, I had a better look at it. Hadn't been cleaned and the front end looked somewhat out of alignment....
He'd mentioned his grandson took the bike for a ride in a field or park. What I think actually occured, was that the GS had a shot on the bike, then fell off and didn't want to ride it again. This, I'm assuming is where the front indicator was broken.
When I got the bike home (I'd stripped it down partially to get in my car - KIA Cee'd SW) I started cleaning things up and most of the bike was obviously like new - so it should be after a mere 6 miles (I thought it was a km clock). Once reassembled, I re-aligned the front end properly and adjusted the head bearings (these still need a slight tweak) and all was looking well.
