Aspiring C90 Owner
Hi All,
I'm Tom and currently on the lookout for a C90. I have fond memories of riding one around my Great Uncles field when I was about 10, and would love one as a regular bike now.
After a bit of initial research on the forum here, I've recognised I really like the classic looks of the round headlight models, but the 12v versions do appeal. On that basis I think I'll be on the lookout for a 1982-1983 C90 C model with round headlights and updated 12v engine (I think! correct me if I'm wrong). So if any one happens to know of one which might be available then please let me know.
Thanks for having me,
Tom

Welcome and good luck in finding a bike.
Surprisingly wightegi didn't ask you to put your location in your details.
It does make a difference, there may be help available locally, or even someone with knowledge of a bike for sale.

Welcome!
Good luck in finding a bike.
The C is a lovely model, and seems fairly sought after.
There is currently a few on Gumtree etc.
I wouldn't pay top money though. If you are in no rush, one will pop up!
Also some sellers don't know they have a 12v round headlight (compared to the 6v), and therefore don't price accordingly.

You can put a round headlamp front end on a later model anyway, so just go for the least rotten bike you can afford. Welcome .

Keeping options open for a good C70C would have been my advice.Saracenblue wrote: ↑Tue Mar 13, 2018 8:25 pmHi Tom,

Don't discount an early 6 volt c70.....round headlamp, good performance and if you get a red one,a great colour
