C90 London riding article in MCN
MCN seem to have a soft spot for the Cub.
There's a decent little article in today's issue about an all-day ride around London.
Worth reading if you buy it or have access to a copy. Worth the 5 minutes to browse in WH Smith if you don't want to buy it.

Bet It's the subtle start of the "raising awareness" part of the marketing campaign for the reintroduction of the cub to the uk this year
Good for the group though
Cynical, maybe.........

I think it's more to do with this group...
Aided by James Gibson's Camphill Chop Shop, that has raised awareness of the World's best motorcycle.
And of course, Ed March has done his bit, too.

The C90 bimble of London never took off. It was talked about for a long while.

A London bimble wouldn't be very practicable with all the traffic lights and no stopping. The drop-off system would be so stretched we could end up with one person waiting at every traffic junction along the route... if we were allowed to wait.

See where your coming from. Unless it was arranged that you would have several smaller groups and then all meeting at a pre arrange ending destination.

That would be fine if everyone knew their way around London. But with all the 'No Entry's' and one way streets visitors would easily get lost. I rarely visit central London nowadays and I can easily still get lost. I always have a 'nose' for home though.

Yep, which is pretty much reinforced by the little sub section on the article, entitled, "Route planing on the fly is half the fun here."
It would probably be achievable with 2 or 3 Cubs but not a big group.
A bit like a Brighton see-the-sights bimble in fact. If there were more than 3 of you, it would be best to park the Cubs and use the SoBi hire bicycles to get around the City.

Re: C90 London riding article in MCN
The only way I could see it working, is for the route to be a series of meeting points at designated time slots.
