Was talking with a chap on Facebook who has a 57 plate Innova for sale quite cheap (£200) needs a crack in the exhaust fixed, a rear brake pedal and a rear light lens (or unit if it's the whole thing).
Any problems to look out for with the Innova - supposedly only got around 8000 miles on it?

Main problem is that is is too far away from me ,I would buy it .
So buy it and fix it for a few quid.

Cam chain tensioner, and sticking front calliper.
The rest will be from poor ownership / maintenance; (rusty bits, bald tyres, knackered chain, worn brakes, broken plastics, missing fittings, etc etc).

I'll give the guy a call tomorrow and see if I can have a look at it.
Not really needing it as such but it might be a decent enough little machine.

Agree with sticky front calliper!!
Have had main stand seizing - a bugger to get the pivot pin out
It was used in winter a lot.
The rear drum pivot arm can seize inside the drum if used in winter / wet weather but easy to strip and clean.
Plastic bodywork fixings / screws etc. can be difficult to remove if left for a long time or screw heads rounded etc.
Plastic mounting parts prone to breaking with age.
Have changed fork seals a few times (easy enough job).
But generally an easy bike to work on and take care of general maintenance.
I change oil every 6 - 8 months.
