Re: Always wanted one
I broke done a few years ago, throttle cable nipple at the carb end came off,and as I was trying to fix it a guy came over and said I could leave in his shed overnight, which I did.Heres a picture of it in his shed.
He was a retired dentist and had 2 CBX's in his collection.Front right is one and rear left is an even rarer one,a MotoMartin I think he called it.

Google the image and it comes up as a bike for sale in Maidenhead....http://www.vehigle.co.uk/used-moto/1980 ... mnhwliiCCCbumbledog wrote:zero rated seller, and in the wilds of scotland.

The Maindenhead ad contributes the pics and text word for word but significantly includes a phone number after the last line; 'Happy to take questions - 07774 99609'
So that Scotland eBay ad is a pure scam.....
