Finally got around to cleaning mine up, painting it and fitting it.

Actually I'm quite impressed with myself, not leaving it to the day before I leave on a trip. :)

Have plans for more front carriers, spine racks and 6V pattern rear carriers,as these seem to be hard/expensive to find.Only thing against me at the moment is time. Will post when ready.

:D :D The rear carriers are slightly modified, you can actually lift the seat all the way up! Unlike most of the originals where the bar stops it.

could be a good seller. do you mean a rack for a solo or pillion seat set up.
i think both types will sell well.
mine is for a solo seat set up. it is actually a modified 6v type from a C50L

Double seat, hinged at the rear, most oem ones dont allow the seat to lift up properly,I moved the bar back slightly so you can fill up etc, without holding the seat.

when i had my ZZ70 i never had the problem as i made a rack in college but when i had my 70Z2 I did have the problem. what i done was bolt a length of 25 x 3mm steel bar to the ends of the side brackets to move the rack back a few inches and made some longer brackets that hold it to the rear mudguard.
had to be careful what i put in it as it was now further back :?
