It's got to go cos i've fallen in love with another !!
But there is a story. Been as good as gold 'till last Summer when it went sick and limped home. Had the head off and could not find anything wrong so gave up and popped it away in the garage.
Decision has been made to to take it to Haywards in Cambridge tomorrow for a sort out. They have been recommended as the best and most knowledgable Enfield dealer around. When that is done and dusted and Haywards are happy with it i was going to put it up for sale up there on a commission sale basis.
New tyres, new German Chain, leather panniers, dual and single seat, front crash bars, rear lifting handle, head set clock, Low mileage.
Small dent in top of tank
So you can't have it yet even if you wanted to !! When it's all sorted, maybe a couple of weeks from now, it will be available.
Going price seems to be about £2500-2600 so i thought i'd pop it on here first.

A couple of weeks ago Steve and me had a nice ride back from Salisbury on the Maxi-scoots and since then I've been enjoying riding the Silverwing.
I'm sure my other bikes will share the mileage I'm going to do this summer with many long rides planned, Scotland, France, Wales, Margate to Land's End. Also going to be doing a few trips to Birmingham to do up and hopefully sell my house there. Busy Times.

I,d love to Steve but its got the wrong gearbox to put a diesel in .No seriously it would be a good buy, but I need something quicker for motorway work

All of which I'd believe wholeheartedly if you didn't keep trying to sell me your Deauville.

Was it Mike C's Blue Silverwing you bought? If so it's a particularly nice one as I remember.

It was Mike's blue FJS600 which has been not used for about a year, I wanted to try another Maxi scoot, and this one is a good project for me. It is in very good condition, I'm working my way through a good full service.
The Silverwing is much better than I thought it would be, it has the big adjustable Givi vario screen on it, a big Monokey Maxi box, so is ideal for a Scottish trip coming up.(Luxury no gear changes for a week).
