Right. Taken your advice and sent in the v62 and £25 hard earned. Will let you know the outcome. Meanwhile I am stripping it down to give it a proper spray job. I take it there is only one shade of red for a 1967 c100 and I can get it mixed in celly . I think its worth it.

The official colour is called SCARLET and the paint code is R23 but the is an alternative colour code which is C.
There is also a very close car colour which was used by vauxhall. it is called FLAME RED and the colour code is 79L.
If you want to use the original paint try this site

Thanks Krazy Kev. I will be painting it in January weather permitting. Scarlet R23 it is then to keep it original.

Once you get her on the road, you gotta bring her to bike night at Moto Demon, Rotherham! Nice buy!

Yes would love too.
Just started a c90 bobbed project so I have put the c100 away safe and dry for a few months.
I don't want to have more than one bike in bits at a time or it gets overwhelming.

Rob the shop owner said that dvla didn't have the bike on there records because it was used last before 1979. He thought it might need some sort of dating certificate from an Honda club, but wasn't sure. Has anyone done this sort of thing before? The old man who owned it died about four or five years ago in his eighties.

I know Robbie well he is my local sources for parts although at time he can be very lazy and say he doesn't have x y and z he forgets I've been around the back rooms he has enough parts to build a few hondas easy great shop though
