Honda 110i Wave.

Post by stevew » Sun Jan 08, 2017 10:10 pm

New to me today.
Ex delivery bike so plastics are pretty shot but everything else seems to work well
It's an April 2014 bike with 19760 miles. Back brake was way off so new shoes in there, done this evening.
Going to need new sprockets and chain and the caliper cleaning out.
Otherwise its fit to go :P

First impressions are that it has a lot more mid range power and about 5-10mph faster than the Cub.

Are these FI or carbed? If it's FI, the 110's over here have issues with the HT lead for some reason and always have to be snipped, but other than that, solid bike. Two family members have 110's and both are holding up well, one with 40 or 50,000 km and hasn't been maintained well.

Looks nice, 110s are great engines, and as you mention more torque from the much longer stroke.

What's more that back rest on the top box works for the rider ;) :) ;) :)
Will try for some sharp piccies soon.

Just need a windscreen now, anyone got one going spare ?

It looks very nice. The lift up rear carrier is a great idea. It should cope well, when loaded up with all your camping gear.

Stickers. That's what's missing!

Hope you will also publish the results of the mirrors evaluation test too. :D
