Re: Honda 110i Wave.
We had one of these on the run to Cannes. Great bike. My mate is 16 stone and 6'6, and the bike had no issue.
In my experience, these are slightly faster than a C90, but very little different when both accelerating flat-out. Up the A12 slip onto the M25, C90 v 110i, the C90 was pulling away - but with the caveat that I only weight 10 1/2 stone!
Rack looks good too.....

Re: Honda 110i Wave.
Been out for a run today. No GPS fitted so all speedo readings and it's got a smaller tyres on. Fitted with 2.5" and should be Front 70/90-17 (2.75") & Rear 80/90-17 (3") so there may be a bit of error there.
(Actually just done some calculations and i think the rolling diameters of the 2.5" and the 70/90 are the same)
Engine rattles when cold for about 35-45 seconds then it's quiet...........cam chain tensioner ??
Brakes are amazing, especially when compared with a C90.
Will do 65 occasionally
Will do 55 anytime
Seems comfortable at 58 ish on the motorway. Keeps up with (but can't overtake) the trucks so that is a big plus.
Mid range performance is truly amazing compared with the C90. Top will pull from 20-55 with good "urge" as in you can feel that it's accelerating unlike the C90 where you are just waiting.
Hills that used to have the C90 down to 35 in top are now 45-50 in top. That's a massive difference in ride-ability
Tank is piddly but i have a plan. Basically i'm going to fit a couple of 1.5L Fuel Friend containers on to the bike and with the throw over panniers under the seat i can still access the tank.
Going to make a little shelf behind the top box where the tent will go and then try to find a basket for the front.
Trouble is with all those plus points there is one thing that sets the balance back level.................it just ain't a C90
Doesn't have that uber cool image
Chain and sprockets ordered. Next a new rear tyre, a 2.75" x 17 will do there. Airhawk on the seat.
And i have a back rest now to fight the fatigue on longer journeys

Think he's only got one left !!

Re: Honda 110i Wave.
It is not as quick as a CG at the top end but not too much difference in the mid range.Bogger wrote:That's CG125 speeds there Steve . I want one.

CG could actually overtake trucks (only just) most of the time.
