pretty sure yours will be german.production didnt go to Kanuni until around 96. Sitting at 65 will bring the mpg right down,i got no more than 45mpg on the 70 mile trip up to leicester i used to do.
MZ seats are well known for being as soft as a brick wall,so make sure you got for a test ride first.Definitely a sit up and beg position, and with my long legs, much more comfortable than the cub, though the saxons seat is much different.

Re: MZ 250 (ETZ) Trophy
ah well they was being a twat, wanted my cub… which compared to the one they have priced up at £799 (same as what there asking for the MZ) they said oh yer cubs worth £499 as trade.. i laughed and walked away, these same guys are asking £399 for a dax50 with a knackered chinese engine and requiring a full restore… and an engine sourced.. if you wanted it back to pure honda. my cub isn't rusty, it has all its original parts, and it has far less mileage than there bike, and a full history. so sod that for a game of soldiers, they would have had my cub priced up at about a grand.
so no MZ for me.. i wouldn't have it now at half the price after there brass necked offer.
