Re: If I had the money
its a nice cx... not a 4k nice cx.. i could see the point if it had tiny mileage like a few hundred.. but 27k miles is still a few under its belt. at that price you could find a very low mileage one and do a little work to it to bring it up to mint nick for less than 4k.

Well Mick, this isn't going to cheer you up, but crunch90 was selling his CX on here a few weeks ago, and I have to say, it was very, very special, and went for no money at all!
Where were ya?

Re: If I had the money
funny you should say that paul, was a bloke i know here selling one of the silverwing versions for a decent price 700 with a yrs ticket, and 19k or so on the clock. sure it needed some tarting up but the engine was mint, was just some scratches n such on the pain made it look a bit crappy, and seat had gaffa tape on one bit, a couple of hundred would have had it sorted. i was tempted but i already own one big barge, couldn't fit another in the lockup.

Re: If I had the money
If I didn`t love my W650 SO much I would definitely get one and use it but the three bikes I have at the moment will stay with me till I fall off the perch (can you smell fish?)

Re: If I had the money
I've got my head right up my arse.
Guzzi let me down t'other day, needing recovery. The bitch started when I got it home.
Intermittent electrical fault.
How many times will my RAC cover suffer this? I'm afraid now, to take it out. I have ordered, enough watertight connectors to completely re-wire the crap Italyan 'lectrics.
If i phoned them, they would say, get it professionally checked out. Right. Trading from this address, we have aliengravy motorcycle electronics, B.eng. So he checks it out. 'It's working'
WHere to now?
