Skyteam, any good?

That mention of Skyteam on another thread reminded me to ask if anyone has experience of their products?
I quite like the look of some of their bikes and the prices are reasonable.

From a single brief ownership experience of a 08 plated Skyteam 50 super moto looky likey with an SS50 copy engine that came my way "cheap"..... I'd say not up to much....wasn't even of MOT age, and the thin paint on the frame was doing nothing to stop the welds rusting badly, what chrome it had was poor and the quality on the castings was pretty terrible. The engine had already eaten its piston thanks to a serious case of neglect, and the new parts I bought to fix it felt pretty cheap and nasty when put side by side with Honda ones......That was a 2008 model, maybe the quality has been upped a few notches since then.......

Over here Skyteam is a kind of invasion. Lots of ST50 replica's everywhere. They are absolutely not Honda quality but when you pay peanuts you get monkeys. Most reliability issues are sorted and i have seen people driving them for years day in day out.
