It's also fuel injected with a long stroke engine designed fully for road use ...The Vox is in essence a 30 year old design of a dual purpose engine wrapped in Wave clone clothes.

See if you can blag a rack and top box ....Worth more to you and costs them less.

Also, I'd budget £100 in the near future for a 428 chain and sprocket kit and a DiD X ring chain. Completely removes the whole chain lube/adjusting work-up...which may be worse than normal without the chain guard

Bit of bump for the old thread :D

Stopped off in Kent Motorcycles today near Canterbury.
They didn't have a Wave in stock, but after a quick chat with the sales fella they are still available but he was unsure how long they will be as things are moving more to twist and go.
Think it was the Grom they had in, funny looking little thing........
Anyways, they pretty much had everything in bar a Wave 110i  so i didn't get to see or sit on one.
Current price is £1999.99
I asked about the service interval as i haven't found it listed anywhere.
First service at 500 miles then at 2500 then every 2500 or annual, i like the service interval, i was expecting it to be close to a C90's.

Asked about a CrossCub, no joy unlikely ever to happen :(

So I bought a 2012 Honda Wave..
Been in my "new" job almost 2 years now, since starting I have been using my C90 most days to and from the depot. About 11.5 miles a day plus used for popping to shops see family etc.
After finishing work few weeks ago I got on the bike to head home, about 2 miles into the journey and all power was lost( I am sure I heard a click click click sound from the engine)Anyway did a quick investigation to see what it was, nothing obvious seemed wrong (to me anyway). Luckily my father in law lives near by and has a transit. Popped it into the back and took the bike home. I'm no expert I think it could be the gears.... Did the usual checks and still nothing.
So as I was in work the rest of the week I knew I wouldn't have the time to sort the bike out so decided to bus it to and from work. What a pain that was, about 2 hours a day rather than my usual 35/40min daily commute on the cub.
Whilst looking on gumtree there was a Honda Wave for sale very local to me, don't see many around these parts. Next day I went to view it and bought it!
2012 reg 16500 miles very very tidy one owner since new and has been serviced every 2.5k miles at Honda.
So iv had it a full week now and used it everyday. It's great, not as much charm as the cub though also the hard seat needs some getting used to and the mirrors seem small and the arms also seem short, underseat storage is small yes, but handy for keeping my lock and tools in. My cub had a rickman screen which I miss on the wave, Puig screen on eBay is about £60 so may ask for that for my birthday. Will do a better review once I have racked up a few more miles and got used to it more. In the meantime I am keeping the cub can't bear to sell she has been great the past 5 years, will have a good look at it when I get time and may do a nice restoration on it..

Also interested in more Wave feedback :D

Although finding a Honda dealer nearby with one in stock, let alone a demo is a bit tricky.
And now being aware of the Supra GT 150 varient........... if we don't get a crosscub....... i doubt the 16hp 150lc engined Wave on roids mini adventure bike will ever make it over here either :(

Not exactly nearby but not a million miles from Kent.

Dobles in Surrey have a couple of new ones in the showroom and a 2014 used one too.
