i found that the bracket that the silly little bracket bolts on to had broken on the left side, i had welded the top right Givi bracket as that too had broken and the rack moved. so after refitting i still had movement but this time from the left side  anyway all done now just waiting on a new right side indicator from my dealer £9.40p and csml wanted 55euro's :o

now a Q: for you Innova guru's Re: wiring diagram.
My Haynes manual does not show this. I have found in the harness by the reg/rec a clear plastic tube sealed with two wires in it, both Blue/Black vertical, one has a single silver ring and the other double silver rings both go to a single female bullet connector, any idea's what they/it is for please.

I wonder if it's the wires left over from the themo-switch not needed for the F.I. models.

Wiring diagram is in the back cover of the handbook (for the carb models).

Carb has 2 connections, one for the heater the other for full throttle.

Lyn.
PS: removed the rear indicator bracket from the mud guard to clean and paint, about to nip to Honda dealer to pick up new indicator and a couple of screws.

got bits from the dealer, fitted new indicator and refitted bodywork. then took a look at the snapped off stud in the old indicator, filed it flat drilled it out and tapped M5, cut a bit of M6 threaded bar and machined the end to thread M5 locked it in and bingo one repaired indicator  wish i had taken a real look at it before i bought the new one
