Introduce myself and my chinese cub
Hello!
Some time ago i renew my motorized two-wheel transports usage by get for "a" category licence ( motorcycles ), and after some time i get to idea, for city ( and maybe not only) the best is small ( 72 - 125cc) manual transmission, chain driven moped.
As so i can start look around, but sadly, in my country i find cub like underbones is rare animal.
I found two - old JMStar jsd100-6 ( 100-5?) chinese, and honda wave 110i.
Honda looks significantly better, but price also is almost three! times more!
Price for chinese one is 640 euro, honda - 1870.
as i do not have BillGaqtes as my close relative, and average salary in my region is about 500 - 700 euro, i choose a chinese one.
The point is going to work and to home from work almost all year round -except snow, big cold ( i do not think, i can stay alive drived when temperature falls lower than -10 celsium), or icy conditions.
So far is 500km travelled, fuel consumptions is about 1.9 - 2.2 litres to 100 km - not bad, if take in consider, these are short trips ( about 12 km in each direction), and there temperature staus about +3 to +7 celsium.
There is my chinese logbook - now is only one article, but i plan to write regularly, and next article comes to 1000 km on odometer:
https://translate.google.com/translate? ... book1.html
do there is any users of JMStar JSD underbones?
How reliable it is?

yes, externally it looks similar - as many other chinese made cubs.stevew wrote:Looks like the Loncin 110 that i had.
Very cool carrier on yours - sadly, with that carrier you seems, cannot take a passenger too.
What you can tell about yours ? Consumption, mileage, problems, max speed?
You have any books about it - owners manual, so on?

Try here for info
http://www.workbike.co.uk/store.php?downloads=1
Sold mine after 500 miles !! Not because there was anything wrong with it but just because i preferred my C90 and it didn't seem sensible to keep both
Bike was about 5 mph faster than the C90 and had a bit better acceleration too, maybe helped by it's 4 speed box.
Haven't got a clue about fuel consumption 'cos i never checked. Seemed about the same as the Cub.
That carrier was a Pizza box carrier made specially for the bike. Went with the bike when i sold it. Bit agricultural

ok, have a nice day!

Hello Drago76, Close inspection of the motorcycle in that link above shows a close copy of the Honda Innova...just like my motorcycle. If you want information you should obtain the Haynes book of the Innova....a very full pile of information....!

Yes, i slowly thinking about haynes, yet that haynes is not cheap.
And also in my experience with various cars haynes manual, haynes not always been good - sometimes it was very short and creappy manual, somethimes - not bad.
Hope, about innova one is good, and covers all systems depth...
