is the v55/1 the correct document to register it I wonder ??, as heard about nightmares registering new imports.

You might need an SVA under 10 years old. Not certain, but think you might. Unless you can find the manufacturers conformity thingy...
NOVA isn't too bad in my experience. But for a V55/5 application, bikes over 10 years old are the best bet.
