Not far from Crystal Palace is the oldest pub in the country! 'The Jolly Sailor' Oldest pub because it was the first to get a license! (so I've been told)

I've got no idea about camp policy regarding bikes but it's a good spot on high ground that overlooks London.
If folk are interested I could think about routes? Check out campsites etc?

Upper Norwood (real name for CP) is a mecca for food and pubs!

There's the Lea Valley campsite this side of London, just on the outskirts of Epping Forest.

There's also the 'bikers' tea hut in Epping Forest near Loughton. I took Nutter there one Sunday morning when we were test driving my 'new' engine. He was like a kid in a candy store with all the different bikes to see.
