New again and bike.

Post by Richw123 » Wed Nov 08, 2023 11:32 am

Hi,
I have been a member here before, but forgot my details, so had to start from afresh, so hi again!..
I have sold my C90 due to ulez and bought a Honda Wave 110 and I am looking for an exhaust for it. I don't want the original one as they are rubbish really. Has anyone on here bought an aftermarket one. The exhaust pattern looks very similar to a C90 the way it goes from the head to rear bracket. I must say the steel is not as good as used the C90. The Wave has lots of rust on it for a 8yr old bike, mind you a good coat of primer would have helped.

I'd agree with that. Swing arm appears to be powder coated which drops off in lumps, on this one I pulled off the rear brake stay by hand and poked about a bit. TBH this was from a spare frame I have that had been severely abused, the one on the bike was solid under the coating, most of which was picked off with my fingers.

No, C90s were never sold in the UK under Euro 3 regulations, and Honda won't supply NOx data for pre-Euro 3 motorcycles.

However, take one for a ULEZ test to get exemption and it is near guaranteed to pass.

If you contact the testing station, they have results of tests carried out on hundreds of bikes to gain ELEZ exemption.

The test costs £175.
